Rithi Hegde
Hi! I’m Rithi Hegde, and I’m going into 9th grade at Western Reserve Academy. I’ve been interested in coding for a while now, and I’m really excited to show others that it can be fun and rewarding.
Outside of coding, I like playing tennis, competing in Science Olympiad, and playing board games with my family. I joined Python Pals as a chapter leader because I want to help break down the stereotypes around coding and decrease the gender gap.

Thoshika Gokul
Hey, I’m Thoshika Gokul! I am currently a rising junior in the Academy of Science and Technology (at Woodlands College Park High School). My interest in coding and programming began through little fun projects in elementary and middle school as my side interests. It significantly deepened in high school through college level CS courses, and also through independent study, which allowed me to gain a more profound understanding of programming.
Aside from my interest in coding, I also have lots of tutoring and teaching experience from being a math tutor in Mission Math, and through various clubs where I taught students new concepts, gave practice, and personalized lessons.
Some of my hobbies include being an absolute bookworm (I love thriller/mystery books, some historical fiction, and lighthearted-books), baking, and photography. I also love board games, and learning new concepts in mathematics.
I joined Python Pals as a Conroe ISD Chapter President with the goal of teaching basic coding skills to young elementary and middle school students. I also hope to spark their interest in technology and help them explore the exciting coding world.

Shivika Sahni
My name is Shivika Sahni, and I’m a 7th grader at Detroit Country Day School. I’ve always believed that there’s no right age to learn and started learning how to code at age 7, just watching my brother and being intrigued.
I love exploring how technology can be used to solve real-world problems, improve efficiency and make everyday life easier. Through Python Pals, I want to help other students discover how fun and creative coding can be, encourage more girls like myself, and hopefully bridge the gender gap.
Outside of programming, I enjoy playing tennis, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. I’m so excited to be part of Python Pals and to inspire others to start their own coding journey!

Victoria Chen
Hi! My name is Victoria Chen, and I’m going into eighth grade at Hudson Middle School. I’ve always been fascinated by how people use numbers and logic to create so many aspects of our life. I also would like to help more girls learn coding and change how people think about it.
Aside from that, I enjoy going on runs and spending time with my family. By joining Python Pals, I hope to teach others (and myself) more about coding!

Hannah Willsher
Hey! My name is Hannah Willsher, and I’ll be a junior at Lake Creek High School this year. My journey with programming began in 7th grade when I chose to take an introductory robotics course. At the time, I didn’t really know what I was getting into and thought, “Ooh, robots, sounds cool,” and decided to give it a try. But after just a few classes, I fell in love with block coding.
Since then, I’ve watched countless YouTube videos on computer science and taught myself Python through online courses. I plan to take college-level computer science classes and more Robotics courses in the coming years to continue growing my knowledge.
Outside of programming, I enjoy reading, playing chess, solving puzzles, and learning Spanish. I’m also a huge Greek mythology nerd and could talk about Percy Jackson and EPIC: The Musical for hours.
I’m excited to have the opportunity to share my passion for programming through teaching, and I hope to inspire other students to explore the world of computer science.
